Do I need cloud subscription to run the camera?
You don’t need to use cloud service if you chose to use a micro SD card for free local storage.
Does it support 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and 5Ghz Wi-Fi?
Only 2.4 GHz WiFi. 2.4G is better than 5G because stronger wall pen.etration ability, long distance and more stable. If you have 5G, the router also gives out 2.4G signal.
How to Prolong the Battery Life?
1.Enable “sleep setting” so that no video will be recorded within the set time interval. 2.Change the recording duration to 10s and resolution to SD. 3. Choose the Medium or Low motion sensitivity according to the usage environment.
Why there is no setting after inserting a SD card?
If you insert a micro SD card(up to 128GB) but no SD card storage setting, it’s because the card is not recognized by the camera. You can 1) restart the camera and update its firmware; 2) format the card to FAT 32 or exFAT; 3) try another SD card.
What to do if the camera goes offline on vicohome App?
1.move the camera closer to the router and reinstall it. 2.If the LED light is steady, check if your mobile phone’s network is normal and smooth
