* How to switch the CTIA / OMTP standard ?
Please keep the headphone connected with the adapter, then un-plug & re-plug them together from PC . the adapter will Re-identify the standard .
* Why my microphone volume is very low ?
This adapter is designed for mass-market headphone / microphones . some professional headphone has very high impedance which is too heavy for USB 2.0 port with limited power . please use Amp or premium soundcard .
* Why there is no respond or static when plug-in ?
If no respond , please check if this adapter is your default audio device in system.
If static , please try to plug this adapter to the PC’s backside usb port which has higher working power .
What’s TS / TRS / TRRS Jack ?
As you can see in the picture above :
TS Jack : Mono Signal (1 ring on the pin)
TRS Jack : Stereo signal for either audio or mic (2 rings)
TRRS Jack : Stereo audio + Mono mic (3 rings)
So the TRS microphone NOT suit this adapter
