I added this BASON LIGHTING USB backlight to my 24 inch monitor, and it has made a big difference in how my desk looks. The RGB IC lighting is vibrant, and the color transitions are smooth. It gives the whole setup a more immersive feel, especially when gaming or watching videos.
The screen sync feature works well as long as you’re on Windows. The software is straightforward, and once it’s set up, the lights react quickly to whatever is on the screen. It adds a nice ambient glow without being distracting.
The USB power makes installation simple. You just stick the strip on the back of the monitor, plug it in, and you’re good to go. The adhesive holds firmly, and the strip bends easily around the edges.
For anyone looking to add some personality or atmosphere to their desk, this is a great upgrade. It’s bright, responsive, and easy to install, and it really enhances the look of a 24 inch monitor setup.

It's pretty easy to install on the monitor and set up on the computer. I like the way the lights look too. I might choose a more known brand in the future though, just because I'm wary about installing random software on my computer.

This LED backlight is not great. First the size is wrong, the sides are too long for a 27 inch monitor. It is easy to install, and the hangers are very strong. The LEDs are far away from each other and the defusing layer is too clear, so you get a lot of hot spots. I had many issues with the app in Windows. Very few config options, and sometimes they don't work at all. I think I'm better off chopping the usb connector and wiring my own LED controller with a remote or Bluetooth. I cannot recommend this.
