Q: Why does my camera say “Lens not attached” or unrecognized ?

A: This is a full manual focus lens, no electric contacts, your camera will not detect the lens when mounted, pls switch camera to M mode to work.

Why I can’t press the shutter button when lens mounted ?

Normally switch your camera to M mode will solve this issue, for some cameras, you need to setting “Release Shutter W/O Lens ” to Enable on camera menu to make lens work.

Why does my picture out of focus and very blurry ?

Pls lock the”Lock-Open” ring, then rotate the focus ring on the front body of the lens until the subject is in focus , and focus with live-view to achieve accurate focus. Recommend use with a tripod and remote to keep image stable

Why doesn’t my camera display the aperture value?

As this is a manual lens without electronic contact, it can‘t be automatically connected, so the aperture value is not displayed. The aperture value F8.3-16 can’t be set by the camera and will automatically change with the lens focal of 420-800mm.

Why is my photo black and how can I solve it?

Pls Adjust the shutter Speed to get good picture quality. if the picture is too dark, set a slower shutter speed, such as 1/250S, 1/200S, 1/150S… until normal;
